Excuse me for being silly, but all my old videos from my old camera wont play on my laptop and says they need converting so is this what id use it for?

I think so, am not too sure. Hubby is at work now but I'll ask him when he gets back (he is an I.T support technician 1st and 2nd line support) and none of that makes any sense to me I just know he does geeky stuff and learnt how to be a geek at uni lol. You need to know what file type your old video is and what file type you want it to be. Sorry I'm not more technical xx

I've had a look at the website and it does convert videos. What file type is it you have now and what do you need to convert it too. At the end of the file name it'll say what it is for example a picture will end in /gif or /jpeg.

If I get too confused hubby is online now so I have technical support xxxx

When i try to open one it says:
Windows cannot open this file: moov000052.3gp
To open the file windows needs to know what programme created it.
Then takes you to a link to select something to open it with....then i get confused and give up

Righto, technical support a.k.a my hubby said you need this software http://www.imtoo.com/3gp-video-converter.html He said there is a free download on that site you should be able to convert it from there. I hope it works for you huni xxxxxxx
