what clothes do you opt not to dress your little one in ?

d is currently sporting denim dungerees !!!!! i really do not like them ,never have liked them ( when the boys were little it was ok when they wore them ) thought i would put them on her today and see if my views have changed ,, NOPE !
not going to change her now though as we only going to shop for milk

so whats your least fav clothing my top 3 are

denim dungerees
velour tracksuits/outfits
arran jumpers !( my gran kept knitting them for boys so grew to hate them )

I think my poor kids have worn every single thing on all of your lists but most not bought by me may I add. My kids get a lot of clothes bought for them by my family and they don't tend to have the same tastes as me but I make sure they wear everything at least once coz I hate waste. Only thing I have been bought that never got worn was a black velour tracksuit for Hannah in 0-3 months . First of all I just find it so weird and unatural for a newborn to wear black and also I have the same life rule as Mari where any sort of velour/velvet is concerned.

If I bought all their clothes I don't think there would be much I wouldn't put them in but I do hate to see little girls in grown up/ high fasion clothes - anything that is a miniture of something I would wear myself.

I have a complete dislike of all neutral baby clothes too! By which I mean anything in any weird shade of cream/beige

i cant touch the stuff ,, gives me the shivers big time

i must admit my kids have worn half the things i hate too to try not to offend people who bought it for them!

Oooo i loved Amelia in her little outfits when she was in 0-3 months and her frilly dress, I mean how can this be anything but utterly gorgeous and scrumptious?

Trainers are practical AND cute especially in small sizes!! Pink frilly dresses just have to be put on a little girl, its the law heehee

I'm with you Tracie, Chloe loves her Peppa pig clothes and trainers are great for walking in and not worrying about getting dirty. This is the one time in their life its ok to wear character clothes and frilly dresses.
My only real dislike is anything dark purple but thats only because every single outfit my Mil has bought Chloe since she was born has been dark purple

i dont mind character stuff - braden has loads of toy story clothes and dita has a couple of waybuloo x

I'm not too fussy really ESP if we are staying in. I do like H in skinny jeans his converse trainers and a long tee. I'm not really a fan of dungarees but they have worn them as been bought by other people. H has a few items with Disney cars on which he loves lol.

i hate pink bottoms.. loads of people buy pink jeans, cords n stuff i hate them
i hate things will pooh on n what not. its okay of their pjs but not on t shirts.
she does have a few upies daisy tops thou.
no jogging bottoms.. or trackies..
no flilly dresses now.. when she was small yea okay

nothing too pink.. liek you can buy jeans that are covered in pink butterflies on n i hate that

I don't mind character stuff in general but I really don't like anything with winnie the poo for a baby over 4 weeks old.

It's a good job I don't mind character clothes as Thomas must own every single item of clothing ever produced with Thomas the tank engine on it my family really have no imagination. One thing's for sure - my son will never forget his name as most days he is walking around with it emblazoned across his chest/back/head/feet/butt

i hate winnie the pooh stuff, tigger etc but i do like tescos little new born range of baby rhoo

i love dungarees.
and lisa i am as guilty as you for the headbands, i just loved the fact i had a girl and could buy headbands lol!
i also am guilty of putting ditas hair like a pinapple lol, really bad hair days!

i hate pink unless its a shabby chic sort of style like cath kidston , i love hairbands and clips though, unless they're ott like this

tbh i hate everything about that outfit, poor kid!

Im the mother you all love to hate!!! And actually am far from chavvy (I think)

1 Isla has adidas trainers in every size
2 They both have adidas tracksuits
3 Isla has a pink velour tracksuit (in fact 2 i think!)

They're so comfy for the child, easy to wash and dry, and she have full climbing ability in them!!!

I dislike neutral colours, so beige & creams are out here! I am though getting a bit bored of pink. I dont but Jess in much other than funky babygros because I think they should be snug, warm, and comfy for a little while yet xxx

oo i like vintage stuff and the fussy flower patterns which look like ya grannys curtains lol

dont like him looking older than he is
personally dont like trainers on him yet
i dont put jeans on him much as i think he's probibly more comfy in trousers...wouldnt call them trakkie bottoms but err you know what i mean lol

am i the only one that does like character things?? lol

for leo i hate trakkie bottoms and skinny jeans, theyre just not him but mil always seems to think they are...they seem to think he's a gangster come emo lol x

Hmm theres nothing i dont really like other then dunagrees theyre ok when he was a baby but now theyre a no no.

he had his dungarees on yestoday too i must say i love dungarees on boys...even till theyre about 3, to me its like a girl in a dress, just ment to be x

I had millions of dungarees for Ollie, I love them!

i love putting toy story stuf onhim tho!! but, thats coz im a big fan lol
