Rowan used to be like this. Anything that made a sizzle in the pan like onions or sausages. Noisy toys would make him cry too. He's just sensitive to the noise at the moment. But he'll get over it. With the bacon this evening will help him.

Crying at a sad face is a good thing, it shows he's bonded well with you. I watched it on panorama (go me lol), and they were showing a simple test with babys to show whether they bonded well with care giver. Play happily, interacting with them & then suddenly stop and look sad/have blank face, the majority of babys will then get upset. Its a good thing but! The hoover is still the main cause of tears and anxiety in this house. Oh or bedtime bear going in washing machine, that caused a full hr of tears!

Drew has this mega fear of the woman that gave birth to me (don't blame him to be honest) and whenever I run a bath he doesn't cry just grips me really tightly. He also hates getting out of the bath, getting dressed and having his nappy done. I think he is like his mummy - hates to be fussed over, I hate people faffing over and around me. Ooh and he also has this insane fear that if he can't see his dummy that it has gone forever, it is attached to a clip on him now so it is never too far away but he really panics, and when he goes to sleep he'll kick off if his feet aren't covered (blame hubby he is the same) I hate keeping socks on him though because he seems to have also inherited hubbys excessive sweaty feet so it is a case of peeling off the socks in the morning and trying to keep them off unless it is time to go out or nap time xxxx
