this is doing my heading and only on day 2 looking and emailing companys to use there venue for free for a mask summer ball for mcmuillian cancer charity.

my mum is climbing the kilamanjaro moutian in oct for mcmuillian and she got to raise £6000 byt doing events and i would like to do a mask summer ball but trying to get a venue for free is bloody hard and stressfull!!

has anyone got and tips on how i can get them to yes?

no idea hun ,,, but alot of places would give you the hall venue for free with view of bar sales making them a fortune

I wonder if you would get a better response if the request was officially from mcmillan on headed paper etc as i suppose they dont know you are genuinely doing it for charity. xx

Publicity should do the trick. Ring your local paper and tell them what you doing and wonderful it will be and ask them to help you find a venue!

i have all the paper work saying about the event and my mum doing the moutian climb. all from mcmuillian
i am going to contact my mcmuillian nurse and see what she do to help me too.
i dont mind paying a depoist £100 but i have been quoted £1000 at one place and thats reduce rate for charity events. x
