first day of work over and it wasn't too bad. it was hard saying bye this morning and i was quite teary , ava's been clingy with her dad all day but otherwise fine. Very Happy

ah i was thinking about u today Jo. Im so glad everything went ok. I had alfie to nursery and left him for an hour and he cried most of the time!! x

that's right sounds good when you say it like that Very Happy , it was actually nice putting smart work clothes on and having adult conversation for a day but looking forward to pj's and baby babble tomorrow.

Well done you. I found the first 3 months hard but after that it just gets easier and easier. I go to work for a rest now and found it exhausting to be at home all over Christmas

aww bless you ! ,,,, i would love to go back to work but my wee toot does not stay with anyone at all not even my dad and OH shifts change every week so would be hard !
im jealous of the adult convo ! ,, my adult convo is all online or random small talk with whoever serves me in asda/tesco/coop !

i'm hoping so Gill, i'm just looking for the positives because I have to do it regardless so I might as well try and enjoy it instead of feeling miserable for leaving her.

Well for me the first day was by far the worst and it did get better. Now I do actually enjoy it and I know that ellie enjoys her days with my parents xxx

I have to agree with Gill though - I have been absolutely exhausted over Christmas spending all day, everyday with Libby (and she doesnt nap anymore!!!) so was actually looking forward to getting back to work for a break Embarassed Embarassed
