Chris has been off sick for ages, due to a stomach problem! Anyhow hes had a procedure that has worked well, and since recovery hes now ready to go back to work!

Its his first day back tomorrow after 5 months!!! Since hes been better, weve had a really lovely time over the last few weeks as a family............and selfishly I dont want it to end!!

Its stupid i know, we both HAVE to work and im sure it will all be fine..........but Jess LOVE LOVE LOVES her daddy, and im just not sure im gonna stack up.

Also a whole day seems a very long time on my own with the tiddlers (im just embarassing myself now!!)



AND to top it all off.........Im terrified of swine flu!! (Not linked to moan above!).......A lot of people in my vilage are getting it that have no underlying conditions and they are really unwell (one is in intensive care!), and I am honestly terrified.. . I feel like locking my family away, but I know thats just stupid!

Awww you are bound to miss him being at home after 5 months! You will be fine though and will appreciate seeing him all the more when he gets home

I can totally understand how you feels chick. My oh has had a fair bit of time off recently and I hate it when he goes back to work. As you say it's a long day on your own with 2 little ones. Mine have been I'll with bugs and colds for ages so not want to go anywhere so am going insane! X

Aww bless you! I'd be the same too! Of course it's going to be strange and you'll miss him, that's really sweet. If my hubby had been off that long I'd probably be pushing him out the door Oh and I'm really scared about swine flu too! I keep hearing about loads of people being really ill with it round here and I don't want to take Stephen anywhere at the moment! xx

Awwww bless huni, you are bound to miss him. Hubby's just had 3 weeks off due to being ill then the Christmas holidays and he went back on Tues and I'm missing him like mad. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things and trying to get the kids back into some sort of routine.

I'm scared of swine flu too, we've all had it (apart from Drew he wasn't yet born) but scared of getting it again, call me paranoid but I only go out if I have to, to try and protect the children esp Drew as he is only a baby. MJ has the constitution of an ox and last time when she got the swine flu she had it no where near as bad as we did. It was horrid though we all had to stay in (the dr's tell you to stay in isolation!!!) and not go out but luckily we had supplies etc so didn't need to go to the shops etc.. xxxx

Aww thats completely normal! as for swine flu ugghh it needs to piss off i've had enough!

Well thats it......THEYRE GOING IN NURSERY!!!!!!!!!!

I just dont think im cut out for this at all!

Everything was going fine until Jess woke up too early from her nap (daddy has the nack of gettin her to go back off, but not me), so she has moaned, yelled, and grumped all day.

Islas decided she doesnt want to eat meals again......only cake , so ive had kick off after kick off from her about food.

So i think 'i know i'll take them for a walk to tesco's', some fresh air might sort us all out!!

pfftttt............Jess goes into total absolute catastrophic meltdowd half way round, and not just crying but screaming! So one handed (holding Jess now), i am trying to push a double buggy, unload, and pay for shopping!

Gets outside and she is near vomiting through being in such a state......so at that point its 4.30 (dadys finishing time), so i phone him to come and pick us all up

Ive gotta say hes looking rather smug atm, but saying nothing.....VERY FOOKIN WISE xxx

2 kids are until I had Lily.

You will have crap ones like today and others that are chilled. They were probably testing you today as it was new for them as well as you. Stand your ground and don't let the little monkeys beat you! Xxx

Poor you. I have had awful days as well where I have sat and cried. But not all days are like that and as L gets bigger it gets easier. Xxx

Aww hunni like Laura and Amanda I've had many days like that and it's god damned awful but trust us when we say it won't be like that every day and again like Amanda says it gets easier as they get older (busier but less stressy). Hang in there hun YOU CAN DO IT!! any time you need to chat or vent or just compare homicidal urges then you know where we are

Oh no Lisa, sorry you had a poo 1st day. Like the other ladies said I'm sure it was because things were a little new to the girls too. I'm sure it'll get easier. Big (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

its a big change for the girlies too, used to having daddy around. they can tell when mummys feeling stresed and nervous and im pretty sure they use it against us hopefully its just a small adjustment period for you all. i hope the days get easier and better xx

As the others have said it does get easier!

OH went back to work on Tuesday after being off for nearly 3 weeks and I would say the first day is always the hardest! Sophie and Andrew walk around shouting Daddy (Diddy in Sophie's case lol) but it does get easier! Especially when they can play together !!

I personally find it easier to get out of the house for an hour or so even if its just a walk as the fresh air does them good, the change of scenery is good too and if we are going to group the different toys / activities entertain them too!

You can do this!

I went for a drive with the boys in the car today just to get out the house. Weather wasn't fit for a walk!
