| i have one of these and im really worried now after the news yesterday and the failure rate, has anyone else got one? i dont know whether to change contraceptives now.

| Id contact your gp hun, not sure whats happening with them now for the ladies who have one fitted? surely they will have to check/change them all after such a high rate of failings? |

| i would wait it out and let the frenzy die down! you might find in a week or two the stats aren't quite so alarmist...you could always use good old condoms til you know more about what to do |

| i had mine taken out last july terrible though the dr told me it was the most effective against pregnancy |

| i had the implant before i had benjamin jo, and it worked for me for 2 n a half yrs and then i had it taken out in the july of 2009 and i was pregnant by october 2009 its a good form, but messed my afs up at the start, but all hormonal contraceptives do for me eurgh lol |

| i dont have the stick in my arm i am taking the tablet same hormones etc just in a tablet you take it staright no week gap. i am taking it for 3 months to see how i react with it..
i have heared a doctor put it in the wrong way!! x |

| i have this and im also unsure of wether to contact my gp or just to leave it. i think after 8 months of having it in id be pregnant before now x |

| I had it in for a year....got it taken out as went back on the pill and fell preggers on that! Id say keep it and use condoms until you've spoken to a doctor. |

| im on the implant have been since may i seem to be ok with it had no probs up to yet ( touch wood) |
