Lots of water...if you're not drinking much your body actually retains water, adding weight, so drinking more means your body doesn't retain as much and lets go of the stored stuff....alot of people's initial high weight loss is water weight
snack often...low cal/fat healthy snacks every couple of hours keeps your metabolism running
never skip breakfast...it jumpstarts the metabolism
any kind of exercise is good exercise...walking up the stairs an extra few times a day, walking to the shops instead of driving, playing wii fit is fun and good for ya! any exercise dvds you have
quite literally when you first start to lose weight it's calories in VS calories out...so eat a lil less and just move a little more!
