Matt's going to start painting tomorrow, so Lissie Bou's nursery will most likely be finished by the end of next weekend which means I will be 26 weeks. xx

Phew, was starting to think we were doing it mega early, but with 14 and a half weeks to go, I would rather get it done now whilst I can help put things together etc. before I get bigger xx

My SIL finished hers by 30 weeks. I never did MJ's as I didn't have one (was moving around a lot due to having left my violent ex) but I did her room when she was about 9 months old then we moved and not done anything to it yet and with Drew we've not done one as we haven't got one. If we move then I'll be doing his room up and MJ's. I've got all the bits for MJ's room just need to swap the rooms around before I can do it (which is easier said than done lol). xxxxx

It was finally finished when I was 36 weeks I think. But I don't really know why I was so concerned as I only changed her bum in there for the 1st 6 months lol x

Ours was finished the weekend before she came. Seems funny but I knew she wouldn't come mega early so was quite laid back about getting it done. But like others, we didn't use it apart from bum changing and dressing. Must admit, I'm so jealous! In loved doing the nursery and wish I could do it again. Enjoy doing it, it's a lovely time

I remember it being finished around the Christmas time and I was due in the March, so I would have been about 6 months pregnant.

Wil's room was done by about February and he arrived in May. I kept going in there when I was pregnant and talking to him about what was in his room. It was beautiful and now it is a tip with all the books and toys he leaves lying around.

Lol, see I am thinking that I am going to try and stick with my theory that after she has outgrown the Moses Basket she will then go into her cotbed in her own room, plus I am planning to feed her, he last feed in her room on a night just so she gets used to it xx

| Yup good thinking! Izzy didn't outgrow her moses basket as such but she would wake when her hands touched the sides when she moved etc
SO she was in her own room and in the cot at IIRC 7/8 weeks |

The cotbed won't fit in our room anyways and we have bought the BT monitor I think we got the 100 one. I want to try and do the whole bath, bottle/breast and bed routine too as will need to get her into as much of a routine as possible as Matt goes away for 4 months in August. I have learnt alot of valuable lessons being a nursery nurse and I would like to think that I will manage to put them into practice with my own child xx

i think that elijah would sleep better probably if he didnt have two parents stomping about - but having said that when we moved we moved his cot to across the room from our bed, and a) its further to walk in the middle of the night brrr and b) i moved it back cos i felt so sad not seeing his gorgeous little face just next to me my poor baby will be 9 and still sleeping next to mummy

Well with Libby we had it all finished by the time I was 13 weeks we went neutral so it didnt matter but I did get bored of it after a while, hence why when we moved I decorated her bedroom in pink This time we started his room the weekend after my scan so I was 20 weeks and its been completely finished for a couple of weeks. xxx

Well its getting there, we have the walls painted and the feeding chair and changing unit put together, Matt is going to put the cot and the chest of drawers together this afternoon and then put up the blackout blind and the curtain pole. Just waiting on the wall stickers and canvases being delivered. xx
