I have just seen on FB that a girl I went to school with got married.
I have always known she is a bit of a snob but she had the carriage like KP and PA had and dessert in the shape of a glass slipper and her comment on most of her pics is
'This is how you get married, not in a crappy cheapy registry office' and comments about how she spent thousands on her wedding and how cheap she has noticed that others have
She didn't mention any names but I feel really pissed at her!
OK, so we didn't spend nearly as much as her on our wedding but that doesn't mean we love eachother any less or that our commitment is less.

I have nothing against people having a huge fairytale wedding but it is not for us! I find it to pretentious and attention seeking but that is my opinion and I would not slate other people's xxx

i had church wedding, big dress, 3 course meal, cars, photograper, bridesmaids dresses, suits, flowers, cake, honeymoon and present for helpers all for 7k and that was the greatest day of my life until i gave birth of course lol

why does it have to be about the money its what it symbalises that matters the vows and love that is up for public viewing on that day

Well, all I can say is, her poor OH, if that is the type of person she is.

Haha she would of HATED our wedding then, it was as cheap as cheap can be but it was great and exactly how we wanted it xx

If I had all the money in the world I'd never have a KP carriage, I have one word for her 'CHAV!' (Sorry if that offends anyone here, lol)

She sounds shallow and materialistic and unowrthy of getting mad about as shes clearly got no idea how to maintain true happiness

My wedding was the most amazing day of my life to that point and i spent 100 pound on my dress, 50 quid on my cake and a total of about 4k for everything else. Most of my decorations were hand made and my mates who went still tell me what a lovely day it was, so relaxed and enjoyable.

shes clearly quite a pathetic little woman and i feel sorry for her husband.I'd rather spend money on my husband and i and our little girl day to day than on some frock id wear once - in fact im not even sure where my wedding dress is right now

what an idiot, why would you spend so much money just to make other people feel crap??? thats rubbish. our wedding cost £108 plus rings hahaha and it was the best day ever and unlike some of my friends we dont have £18000 to pay off from it either

i know some people are into the whole big day, and thats great if it will make them happy - but it sounds like she is only doing that to show other people how much she can spend, who cares?!

i wana look too?! i used to love katie price, before i had my kids, and now i cannot stand her! although i do want the big princess dress at my wedding tho, but other than that i want it as cheap as possible. you have a wedding to show your love and commitment, its not a competition of who can spend the most. x
