| I just wondered what if anything you would like your oh to do more of or less of for you and your little ones and around the house etc.
If you could start from first moving in together again what rules do you think you would kinda enforce from day one to help you out?

| I never had the opportunity for us to move in together, this house was his to start with so I just joined him because of this the house was a batchelor pad and 6 years later I've never got it as tidy and organised as I would like it. He's a pain in the backside hoarder!!
Sooooo what I'm trying to say (lol) is that if I could go back in time and move in with him at the same time, maybe the house wouldn't be such a tip. |

| I did change the rules just before we moved to this house. I had always taken responsibility for him, packing for going away, tidying up after him etc and I just stopped so either he does it himself or it doesn't get done. There have been occasions where he has gone away and forgotten something but that's not my problem. He cried when I did it at first but just accepts it now. (he does all the cooking and we have a cleaner and gardener so no arguements on those ) |

| I'm jelous too lol I will have a cleaner one day!
My oh is moving back in soon ish and I wanna set some rules! We are going to make the garden our 'project' as it certainly could do with a re vamp! I've said atleast one night a week I want him to sort out dinner and clean after as it's what I do! I've also asked that he help around the house more, I think even just cleaning a toilet would amaze me lol.
Need to think of a few more! I'm not expecting miracles! |

| The only thing I would change is the amount of money we spent - we went a bit crazy when ttc and it wasnt happening, mainly him buying things to make him distracted (boy racer car he always wanted etc) things we really couldnt afford when he lost his job, and we half way through doing the house up. He doesnt really help me around the house, but we are as bad as each other we both think lifes a bit too short and as long as the house is 'clean' then most people have to accept that you take my house as you find it.....its not a show home its lived in |

| Hmmm..thats a tough one. Shayne is pretty good at helping around the house when he's home, but if I could change anything from the beginning would be his obsession with money. He works his ass off, which I totally respect and admire in him, but he is sometimes so driven with finances that he lives, eats, breathes it! He was raised to believe that the more money you have, the better the person you are. His dad put the fear of God in him about being poor by taking him to a homeless person's park area and watch them fight when his Dad would throw a handful of change at them. If I could go back and have him get as far away from his Dad back then..I would gladly do so! |

| Mine is similar to Gills, i used to end up mothering Dan a bit and checkign everything for him and i put a stop to it much to his disappointment i think!
Once the DIY overhaul of our house is complete we are def having a cleaner and i am just trying to find someone to do the ironing. I know this might sound a bit lazy but we both work full time hours and its hard to fit it all in and still have time for Lily.
