| I swear i am going to kill that cat i cant cope any longer with her.
so far she has destroyed 2 door seals which means there is a permanant draft theough the back door. all my kitchen chairs, the toy box in the living room. Constantly find her in the moses basket And this morning i discovered she has put 2 cracking holes in my made to measure £100 bedroom blind!
aaaarrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh i am so annoyed, we cant have anydoors in the house closed as she scratches at them to get through and she wont stay outside she just wrecks the door seal.
I am at the end of my tether. |

| I take it you are no longer a "cat" person. I don't hate cats, but they can do a lot of damage inside your home. Yes..dogs can too, but it's usually done over the course of their puppy phase with the chewing and training accidents. Once you get them trained, they usually seldom fluff up. Cats however own you and your property..and not the other way around. The two cats we had years ago were awesome, but they ruined carpets..pulled down curtains, poo'd in my plants..awoke at ungodly hours racing up and down the stairs..climbed onto my counter tops after visiting their litter boxes..coughed up fur balls inside shoes..and when mating season hits..dear God..nothing worse than hearing two cats doing it or the tom cats in the area fighting! Not to mention the semi eaten dead gifts they leave at your door step. Yep..I am a dog person! xxx |

| We got rid of our cat (ironically called Diva) because she was a little cow. We had her from kitten and after a year we decided anough was enough. We tried to train her using humane methods like a loud noise or a squirt of water but nothing worked. She kept going on the kitchen sides, weeing in the plants, scratching up everything barr her scratcher which I tried to tempt her with by spraying it with cat nip, scratched the kitchen door to buggery if we left her shut in there at night, scratched our bedroom door to buggery if we shut that to let her roam the house and if we left the bedroom door open she would jump onto the bed and off again a million times a night I swear that animal had fleas up her butt she just could not sit still unless it was during the day when we were awake anyway.
I even got MJ to play with her and try to keep her awake during the day in some hope that she'd be tired at night...did that work??? Like hell it did, that flaming animal used to seriously raise my blood pressure it wasn't good for my health or that or our unborn baby so we got rid. At the same time we also had to get rid of our darling Poppytops who was stilll technically a kitten as she's gotten attached to Diva, they both went together to the same home.
I think it a part of their personality as Poppytops was ok it was Diva who was a little shite, I don't think your cat will change to be honest hun xxxx
I miss my Poppytops so, so much she was such a darling little creature and my fur baby xxx |

| My cats are well behaved and I have trained them to an extent. They know their place and do as they are told.
Be harsh with her if you need to she will get the message eventually. Mine got a smack across the backside or squirted with water if I caught them doing anything they shouldn't (have to actually catch them in the act though).
If she is too much for you though get her rehomed sooner rather than later because kittens are far easier to rehome than adult cats.
Is she neutered? That helps with behaviour too. |

| I do agree with gill to an extent, mine know what the water gun looks like and desist what they are doing if it gets picked up. They no longer claw curtains etc but do claw the sofa and Greebo hs a tendency to chew on you when hes trying to be affectionate. We seem to have solved the rest though. Have they got a scratching post? Try getting one and dousing it in cat nip to make it appealing. And citronella repels em so put it anywhere you DONT want em. Yu can get a bottle of it quite cheap from anywhere that does essential oils |

| I also have a couple of carpet squares (the kind they have as samples in carpet shops) outside doors that mine have been known to scratch against. They tend to use that instead of the door.
Coir mats work well for outside too. |

hahaha ours used to see the water gun (even though we tried to hide it) and play with it...then if you sprayed them with water it was just a game for them boo! nothing could be done with the little monsters - i loved them dearly but having a newborn and two kitty terrors was too much for me! |
