| Well Tays Bday is coming up (April 14th) and ive just been pondering on what to do for it! Last year we had a little party at my mums. Last year the weather was really nice so i was thinking if its good again this year about arranging a little teddy bears picnic down the park....is this a really gay idea? I would be her little friends and a few of my friends and family, id do a huge picnic and we wouldnt have to worry about space and all the kids could go off and play. Whats everyone else doing for their lo's 2nd Birthdays? I was looking into hiring a hall but tbh we dont know that many children/toddlers so not really worth it! Were also going to go to Butlins for a couple of nights a few days before just Luke, Tayla and I. |

| I think that is a lovely idea! Could you hire out a small room at a leisure centre and have an indoor teddy picnic if the weather isnt quite right? Not sure how much it would be though.. Mandy x |

| Thanks for all your replies, im glad u dont think its a gay idea lol! Its just the weather i suppose umm English weather I suppose if it rains then we will have everyone around ours for an indoor picnic, but will be a bit cramped! I did look at booking a hall but they cost between £50-£100 per hour which is a bit of a waste as they wont be that many kids. At the park we can still do games like pass the parcel too |

| The teddy bears' picnic sounds like a fab idea, maybe you could have teddy themed food too like sandwiches cut into teddy shapes, pom bears and teddy shaped biscuits.
We are going to Butlins at Bognor for Wil's birthday in May. |

| Ok im getting excited already now Think ive found the cake: http://www.marksandspencer.com/Marks-and-Spencer-Teddy-Picnic/dp/B0029LTARW?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_14&sr=1-14&qid=1294738015 Teddy Bear Picnic will be quite a hard theme for me though as its not very girly! |

| That's sounds lovely, It's Chloe's in a month and I haven't sorted anything out yet, the weather is crap in February so I'm restricted to indoors, I need to get a wiggle on and sort something out |

| Izzys is in about 8 weeks, so weather wont be great, if it were later I think a picnic would be lovely!
I am probably going to go to the soft play centre near us and so the kids can play and eat and then go back to our house after |

| We were on holiday for Andrew's second birthday and we just had a little cake etc in the caravan But there is only 20 days between A&S's bdays and we had a party for Sophie's birthday so we made it a joint one Was lovely. However my friend had a soft play party for her little girl's 2nd birthday party and after experiencing that I'm definately giving mine a soft play party next year! The kids have constant entertainment, its indoors so doesnt matter if weather is pants, you dont have to worry about food, not worries about cleaning up and they did party bags too! Another friend did a teddy bears picnic for her little girl's 1st birthday (was a july birthday) and we went to that and it was very good! It would be ideal for a 2nd birthday party as they can play on the park better than a 1 year old. The themed food idea sounds brilliant too! Hopefuly you will get good weather!! |

| soft plays are great too if your not very good with other peoples kids lol. just incase anybody wants to know we paid £7.25 per head and they got an hours play in the soft play, face painting, juice available anytime, a hot meal, a party bag, party games with a host and little chocolate treats on the like pass the parcel etc,a balloon and then a party bag with sweets and colours and a teddy in. x |

| The soft play does sound good but we got to soft plays onces or twice a week so its no different really as they have 'parties' there too. Think i will go for the Teddy Bears Picnic then and theme it |
