| If she is still ill I'd do what makes her feel better - probably cuddle her....when she is ovr it you will have to deal with it...but at least she is well and you will know she isnt crying cos she ill |

| been up settled her right down til she was asleep then led her back down came back down sat for 5 mins and she is off again i feel so so sorry for her and also so helpless that there is nothing i can do. MMR jab wont fully protect them until they have 2nd dose so can still get the ilnesses but only in a minor form all i can say is if this is minor i dread to think what she would be like if she got it full whack x |

| Bless her and you.
I remember having mumps when I was 7 or 8 and it was so uncomfortable the memory is still vivid. I had a little hot water bottle that I put on the painful areas and that really helped. Maybe get her one of those toys that you can warm up in the microwave to help settle her. |

| Awww hun, it must be so awful for her. Did the doc say how long this stage of it will last? My OH had it a few years ago before we met and he was off work for about 2 weeks and his face was all swollen x |
