HI well as i said my friend was 29 weeks with sever preaclamsia well. tonight she has had her girl they stupidly if u ask me tryed to induce her but baby heart beat droped so had emergancy c section . no weight or anything yet alll i know and care about tbh is that baby is in icubator my friend is ok . she was born at 31 weeks 6 days


2LB 5 OZ breathing half on own half not my friend has only seen pic wont beaboe to see her till atleast tommo afternoon she in tears

At least they got the LO out okay and your friend is doing okay. I guess LO will be in SCBU for a while but LOs have survived and gone on to do well after arriving earlier than that so fingers crossed she is okay.

The reason they try a vaginal delivery first with premmies is because with a section theres a higher rate of breathing difficulties because they are taken out so soon so in the surprise some babies forget/cant breath. Obviously with a prem delivery their lungs arent fully developed so it's best to avoid this if possible.

My niece Rebecca was born at 30weeks 1 day, she was 3lb 5oz, my bro & wife were only young, first baby it was an emotional time and they all came through the other side. She came home from hospital at term, she is a fighter......I saw her yesterday she's 20 years old in June, in her final year at agricultural college, to see her sitting with her boyfriend, celebrating her younger sisters birthday - to us she is a miracle xxx

they got weight wrong she is 3lb 2oz so thats a bit better

I had Megan at 30 weeks and she weighed 2lbs 15oz! I hope all goes well with her, I'm sure it will all work out fine. Megan is a wild little 2 year old now and no problems at all xxx

Thats quite a good weight i had Tayla at 36 weeks and she was 3.8lbs. Hopefully her breathing gets better soon xx
