Glad I have all you ladies. I am feeling a little taken for granted at the mo by close friends. OH is away from thursday morning until Monday nite. I know when my friends oh's are away I will offer to meet for coffee call round for a chat for company but I haven't even got a text to see if i'm ok. We are all going to a concert next week and I forked out for everyone's tickets months ago. If someone where to go out of their way for me and do me a favour I would make sure they had the money within a few weeks. Needless to say I am still waiting and am getting pissed off as our friends know we have been in a difficult financial position the last year with me being on long term sick leave.

Sorry for the rant ladies just had to get it off my chest as hubby doesn't like to rock the boat so I have had to bite my tongue the last few months.

awww id be pretty pissed off aswell, i would defo say you need the money now.. i lost a lot of my friends while pregnant, all because i couldnt go out every weekend, but soon as they get pregnant and have no one to talk to.. they want to know me again

Agree with other ladies about sending a a text or Email to drop a hint. Its not very considerate of them to leave it to the last min. Tickets cost a clean fortune these days!

As for them not texting to meet up.... Do they know your OH away for so long? Did you text them and say you were lonely/wanted a bit of girly craic while he was away? Im only saying as when iv been in a low mood before iv been very negative about my friends and blamed them for not contacting me. Its only when iv picked myself up a bit I realise that my mates arent psycic (sp?) and probably would have came over if they had known I was feelin shitty. Also when iv been feeling poo I havent texted them in a while so why should I expect them to text me....

Not meaning to be negative, just offering another perspective as to why they havent texted! We all here to make sure youre ok anyway

Well hubby is home in less than 2 hours and I so can't wait. I can't even be bothered going to the concert tomorro nite now as I just so pissed of with the whole hassle. I have had a text today from someone wanting to collect their tickets but no mention of how I was with David being away. Only for you girls and my mum and dad and an old friend I haven't seen in years I wouldn't have had any company, am not a happy pixie and am feeling so hurt and let down.

I'd send them a text or E-Mail saying, do they still want the tickets, if they say yes tell them they need to pay for them or your selling them to someone else.

The concert is tomoro nite Kell, they all say they still want the tickets, am more pissed off that no one even contacted me or sent me a text over the weekend as they knew oh was away
