Remember a few weeks ago, i was setting up a website for our potential venture......

Well, i had only posted it on FB as were not ready to advertise as a buisness yet.

Anyhow, this morning my boss phoned from work (im still off from there), and said that she had been made aware of a website I had set up, and that she was phoning on behalf of HR. She said that I had mentioned on my website that I worked for the NHS and that this wasnt allowed, and could I amend the site ASAP. I obviously apologised and said that yes of course I would correct the site, and that I genuinely had no idea that I couldnt say that 'we are a married couple who both work for the NHS'......

So all was good, and the site has been amended! Happy Days

Until I thought, hang on a minute, It must be a 'friend' on FB who has reported me to HR..........and why the heck didnt that person just email, call, or message me to say 'Lise, you need to correct that website, youre not allowed to do that' etc etc

But NO some fecker obviously set out to try and get me in trouble...........why??????

Y'know in really not a bad person, but i always make an enemy, but never know why

Time to narrow down the culprit and figure out who would do such an asshole thing to you!! I would be furious!

I have a couple of suspicions, but tbh I just feel miffed that someone would try and get me in bother for an innocent mistake xx

am i being dull, but why aren't you allowed to say you work for the nhs, its the public sector ffs ?? x

I dont know really, but as ive wrote above, that was exactly what id put.....no other mention of NHS anywhere.

I can understand though, if thats what they say x

Thats really petty on the person who did it Lisa. They have nothing better to do. As for why you cant mention working forthe NHS i know they are clamping down on FB stuff which may have been why they overreacted. Ive probs said i ended up on a 12 months disciplinary for a joke i made on fb and someone anonymously reported me. They are going a bit OTT though if you cant even say what you do for a living!

I know I had to remove anywhere I had ever said I worked for i net (actually I keep forgetting I should lol and nearly typed it there)

That was told to all employees and was to ensure their actual website came up on the top of search engine lists - rather than a random baby forum that was maybe slagging them off

Theyre proberly just jealous x
