I was pg with Hannah

Seriously though - we haven't had unprotected sex so I can't be pg and even if by some crazy accident a teeny swimmer did escape then I would only be about 3-4 dpo so surely I wouldn't be getting the exhaustion symptoms already?

But WHY am I so tired?

I am sat here chilling and I am struggling so much to keep my eyes open, the kids are playing/watching milkshake and I feel terrible leaving them to it but I feel exhausted. I am no stranger to lack of sleep with my two monkeys but normaly once I'm up and about I feel fine, even when Hannah was newborn and I had Thomas to run after I wasn't this tired. I did have a big night out at the weekend where I got extremely drunk (first time in nearly 4 years ) and danced like a maniac all night but surely I must be over that by now? I have also just started a diet and trying to have a bit of a detox but am by no means starving myself or hungry in any way .

Argh! what is wrong with me? I can't keep spending the last 2 weeks of each month panicking that I'm pg . Even though I know the chances are extremely slim I'm still worrying - I honestly dont know what I would do if I became pg again - this may sound selfish but I would be devastated

Debs, um sure not pg as it sounds like you've been mega careful. Maybe you need to visit your gp and get him/her to check your blood as you may be a bit anemic!

maybe you're coming down with something? Are you eating lots of fruit and veg and drinking lots of water? Maybe try some multivitamins, or you could be anaemic. It could just be you're getting old it takes me days to recover from a night out now

Thanks Penny - I might get myself to the docs for a full MOT anyway as I'm a bit messed up hormone wise since having Hannah.

LMAO Mandy - it had crossed my mind! I've honestly not been out on a 'proper' night out for nearly 4 years and I can't even remember how I felt afterwards but I am starting to feel old . I have eaten a ton of fruit and veg and drank loads of water in the past couple of days after spending the last month eating not much other than crap so it could just be my body starting to detox but I still can't help but panic about the pg thing. I wouldn't say we have been 100% careful but I would have to be extremly lucky/unlucky to be pg (IYKWIM?)

It takes me 4 days to recover from a night out now (im only 24 ) i think everything youve just said prob plays a part in it. But even now, Tayla sleeps 12 hours a night i still have days when im so tired for no reason and spend most of the day wishing i was back in bed lol!

I wouldn't think you were pregnant hun, but i know that wont stop you worrying!
I also don't think you sound selfish! You have a wedding to lookforward to and i'm sure being pregnant is not desirable lol!

No I'm not on the pill hun, I went back on it when I stopped bf Hannah but it turned me into a freaky hormonal mess and I couldn't stop eating which wasn't good for my wedding diet. I decided to give my body a break after being pg twice in two years and then BF and on and off the pill I want to level out and other than extreme PMT I have been feeling great and finding losing weight a bit easier. I have been pestering OH to get down the docs to talk about vasectomy but he's a typical man and keeps putting it off

I think you are right and it's a mixture of everything just catching up with me but it reminds me so much of when I was first pg with Hannah that it is freaking me out

When I used to do a detox I'd get mega tired too so it really could be that. Have you been eating carbs at all? I found cutting them out or drastically reducing them really effected me and I was on the point of falling asleep standing up. You could also be coming down with something? I wouldn't have thought you were pg but if you were you probably wouldn't be having the tiredness symptom just yet? Or like the other ladies have said you could be anaemic. I hope you get to have an afternoon nap! xxx
