Just tell him the truth. my SIL has this but as Rowan has only seen her once when he was 6 months old we've not yet had to deal with the situation yet. But when he does ask we'll tell him the truth, that she was born without her lower arm and hand

I think this is really good that they have people with disabilties on the box as it makes our kids aware that we're all different from a young age. So when they venture off out in the real world they're not suprised or shocked to see people with missing limbs. Well done to ceebeebees for this. But I must admid cerrie really bugs me!

It's fantastic that Jaiden is so observant and wants to know things...bless all our little sponges. (must drive you insane when he is constantly asking questions though ) BTW aren't all children's TV presenters really annoying?

Well done to ceebeebees for this.
But I must admid cerrie really bugs me! i can remember reading in papers and on another forum ( not ab ) there was a massive uproar about her working on cbeebs ,, the parents were fighting for her to be sacked ,, kids getting nite mare etc ! i think they did fantastically in hiring her , showing our children that not everyone is perfect and they dont need to be ! |

I agree with Cbeebies for hiring her, it is teaching children that we are all different and to see someone who is different will make it less of a shock later on in life. In Balomory there is a lady in a wheelchair, didn't see no one complaining about that!! What I said above is what I said to MJ that some babies haven't grown properly and she accepted it. xxxxx
