eurgh. benjamin has pretty much tripled the amount her normally sleeps, only had 3 bottles and a jar of food today. he wouldnt go to sleep for his 33pm nap and cried for nearly 2 hours straight, i eventually settled him on my shoulder then he vomited everywhere...all in my hair, down my arm all over his own face and all over the floor

he was coughing a little this morning, and sneezing, no temp...but very grouchy.

i know this will probably be in the wrong place, just needed some advice!

he went down for his nap eventually at 515 and is still asleep now, no tea, no bottle, no nothing!! he seemed quite lethargic when i put him down, but that could just be because he was soooo tired

i hope to goodness he is ok!!!

any advice? should i wake him? or just leave him? confused about how to deal with a poorly baby, he hasnt been ill yet

I would leave him sleep hun. he could be coming down with something but sometimes just sleep will do a world of good. Try and keep an eye on his temp and if he gets hot give him some calpol.
I wouldn't say theres anything to worry about just yet as he has had some bottles and food.
See how he is tomorrow but if you are worried then see the doc, mums instincts are normally right x

he sounds like he is coming down with some thing i would let him sleep then mabey try him with a yogurt or something he likes when he wakes up if he wont take it just give him his milk hope it helps x

Its scary the 1st time their sick isnt it! I was shocked at how much spew they can produce. the 1st time caitlin was ill it was nearly comical, I had to ring my mum to come over an help - she arrived 10min later to find Caitlin in the bath covered in shit and sick, the rug and bumbo swimming in vomit and me and stuart covered in sick and poo looking helpless!

Id say let him sleep, maybe put a towel under his head tonight so that if he brings up anymore you can whip that off and hopefully not have to change sheets. Keep offering him water - hydration is the most important thing. I wouldnt push food on him, the 1st time Caitlin was ill at around 7mths she went back to just btls for a week. Keep checkin he producing wet nappies and if his temp gets high/bad rash then ring out of hrs dr.

i thought the best thing would be to let him sleepies anyways he was in a lovely mood this morning, slept good (2 hrs every 2-3hrs---which is amazing for benjamin lol---normally 2 hrs the whole day!!!) then at about 3pm it all kicked off

hopefully he sleeps well and gets himself better...problem is he only has a thin sleepsuit on...but i s'pose it's better for him to be cool then too hot...

will keep ya updates everyone...
and snoopy!! that must've been awful...benjamin puked the most he ever has done, but it still wasn't half that much lol i now need a bath though...as i have hard hair of his sick haha
