| Just had my home delivery from ASDA and there are a few substitutes - fair enough if they haven't got something I'd rather have an alternative than nothing at all (although most subs are where I ordered 'lighter' products and they have sub'ed full fat products - I guess ASDA wants me to be fat forever ). Except I ordered a huge box of size 4 huggies nappies and rather than substitute them with pampers or even ASDAs own size 4 what do they do??? send me f'ing size 5!!! wtf? If I had wanted size 5 I would have ordered size friggin 5!!!! Best part of it is I was that busy trying to stop Thomas escaping down the street that I didn't actually notice until the bloke had gone so now I've now got to go to ASDA tonight and change them as Hannah is desperate for nappies. Never again will I be lazy!!! xx

| lol people are stupid
i dont really like getting my stuff from asda..
i onmce ordered a fruit cider.. but they was out. so they send me a apple one..
i odered some dark red apples.. n they charged me 194 fror ONE apple.. i weighed the apple and looked at the sticker n worked out there should of been 3 in there.. so no idea where the other two went. on the web site they said they hadno supos what no ever! so had to get aunt besies roasties.. and they said they didnt have liek 5 other things. so i went out to tesco to get them.. only for the asda man to hurt up and give me the stuff which they said they didnt have.. so i had double of every thing..
and when i tiref to change my order the day before, they woldnt let me n said that my sot was no longer there even thou it had been booked for three weeks!!! ARGH! |

| Paul got home and wasn't impressed as it turned out they had also over charged us by £6 so rang them to complain and tell them not to make daft substitutions. Well they were very appologetic and reduced the charge to the original price and as an appology they have refunded us the value of all items substituted AND let us keep the products so £20 better off and Thomas will wear the size 5s!
RESULT!!! xx |

| Woohoo! Stuart works in dotcom at Tesco and I asked him about substitutions. Apparently their hand held scanners make the suggestions so generally the person doing 'the pick' just goes along with. It can be overwritten but so depends on whether person picking is using their brain. If you order a cucumber and they dont have it the 1st suggestion is 2 hlf cucumbers and the 2nd a courgette, tuna & courgette samdwhiches... nice |

A friend of mine worked at sainsburies picking out the stuff for home delivery and he just used to munch on the things he could get away with, grapes, apples etc. Wonder if that is where your apples went. |
