hahaha so i use premade pastry cos well, im rubbish at pastry i just tried to make pasties though and put the innards in the wrong place....sooo it's probably simple (i ended up with, shall we call them parcels haha) but what shape do you start with and how do you fold them???

i started with a triangle but either put the innards in the wrong place, put too much in or got it totally wrong - beginners lesson anyone???

I would roll the pastry out so it's round put filling in one half of the circle, wet the edges of the pastry and fold over so you have a semi circle then use a fork to squish down and stick the edges together... I say I "would" as Ive never done it before so maybe thats the hard way!

ahhh a circle! that didn't even occur to me oops, i thought triangles cos pasties are sort of triangular....hm

lol I think triangle sound very complicated... give the circle a go let me know if it worked though I fancy some now hehe.
