After all the financial rubbish thats gone on over the last few years, and not getting the job I went for........I think were finally gettin a break......(please god I hope so!!!)

As you all know ive started locuming and its fab money & ive had the all clear from HR about doing it now so even better!

THEN

Chris got a call tonight to offer him a managers position on this years Census!!!!!!!! He went for the job, but was originally told that they had filled all positions but that he'd done an excellent interview.....at the time we were well peeved

but, they have phoned to see if he would consider an area outside our stated remit.....but its only 8 miles away! So hes jumped at it. Its gonna be a nice wedge of money for 15 weeks work, and also fab experience for his CV as hes gonna have a team of 15 peeps!

Im so chuffed for him, hes been feeling quite down because its always me who earns the money, and he so wants to be 'hunter gatherer'

so Well done to my lovely hubbie! Im really proud of him xxx

Ah brilliant - its so true that if you keep soldiering on it comes good and you get your rewards!!

So pleased for you, what will you do for childcare whilst his working? Have you got friends or family that would have them ??

Hopefully we will shift childcare between us, but we have the FIL and my sis to back us up should there be odd times we need some cover.....
