would you take your kids abroad alone?has anyone done this?
i was thinking of the £9.50 sun holidays but iv decided im gonna take the boys abroad in may..not sure where yet but do you think id look like a complete loser ??x

You wouldnt look like a loser at all!

If you think you can cope with them then do it! I think Leo is old enough to take car of himself...remember you have to have Oliver on your lap on the plane so Leo would have to be good boy!

My mum is a single mum and she's been abroad on her own with twins and her youngest is 15 months younger than the twins and she had a great time. She went to various places and got chatting to a few other mums too, and mums who had kids of similar age so they could play together etc... I don't think you'll look sad at all hun xxxxx

the main thing i worry about is if leo wants to do something i will have no one to help out with oliver so we will have to stick to things we can all do...and sat the shallow end of the pool leo is usually quite good and fingers crossed will sit nicley with his ds. but thats the main thing im worried about is the traveling there bit, its quite daunting x

you could always go somewhere in the uk and dont have to fly, like Cornwall is where we're going.

go 4 it u wont look a loser i have a friend goes abroad with her kids she went all the way to america with her 2 when they where younger, i think her daughter was 2 and son just over 3 she stayed with someone there but to travel all that way with them at that age was very brave she had to get 2 planes to get there too, but she goes to spain too. i went last year with just my mum and riley, i dont know wot people thought about 2 women with a kid being on their own but i wont bothered at least its a break away and i think u deserve a break xx

no dont really know anyone else who would want to go. all the friends i have are either already going with partners or cant afford to go. id go with my mum but she's having a conservetry put in so is only having a small holiday later in the year...i just feel i need something to look forward to soonish xx

Well as a newly single i already have a holiday to spain booked for 2 weeks in Sept and i am still taking them xxx

Gem i'd definatly go hun, The plane will be fine! Try and keep it a couple of hour flight and i'm sure the boys will be angels! I think the thought is worse than the reality.
I never went away as a single mum i couldn't afford to but i would definatly have done if i could!

i took my 3 when they were younger, alone. but i only went to butlins lol!! u always meet some one and the older ones get cught up in the excitement of it all any ways so they are happy to go along with whatever u say ur doing that day X

If you feel like you could do it then defo go for it x I dont think i would have the bottle but then i cant walk to town by myself x But its all different when u have to.
