| stop using a pushchair?! with braden it was quite clear, he was 15 months when dita was born so that was bye bye to the buggy - if we were going quite far we used it now and again for another month or two but the we threw his buggy out. .. Dita is 13 months and i cant even imagine not putting her in a buggy even tho she has been walking since 10 months. So when did you guys stop using your pushchairs?! x |

| good question, I hadn't thought about it yet Cerys is 16 months and is quite a confident walker but I think I may still use her buggy for another 6 months at least x |

| Caitlin is 17 mths and I have no notion of stopping using it anytime soon. Tbh the earliest I would prob consider it is when she is 2-2.5yrs. I suppose it depends when we have another because I wouldnt want a double buggy (our car is teeny) and our pushchair can be used from birth so will be being reused. I thought 2/3 was average. My friend is a bit extreme and until recently (her son was 6 in Oct) she would have still put him in the quinny for long walks. Id say he was 4.5yrs and still would have used it if she walked the 25min into town. Each to their on though, it worked for her as she got to get a bit of exercise and didnt have to walk at a snails pace. He did look a bit ridiculous in it though as he's average-tall for his age. I'l just see how it goes over the next year. Atm I cant imagine letting Caitlin loose in a shop! The odd time we let her out to hold hands it ends up in tantrums as she wants to escape. The pram is staying a while yet!!! |

| Sophs is walking pretty well now. We try not to use it when we dont need it, like to the local shops, as long as we are not in a rush and when shopping i have a rucksack with reigns which i use alongside the pushchair so if it gets too much she can get back into the pushchair. I would love for her not to use the pushchisr but i think she will continue to need to have it at least sometimes for quite a while yet, especially as she is still on one nap a day, and if out and about, its a perfect place for her to be able to have her nap. I reckon probs it'll be about two before we ditch the pram, but even then am sure there will be call to use it sometimes. Ta for raising the question, was something in my mind too. Mandy xx |

| tbh i think ill also be using it for quite a while yet too, if i do use the pushchair anyway its usually when we will be out for a while, lie going into town or something, as everywhere i go is quite far we use the car a lot. i cant realy remember with leo but i know i still used it say for town and things till he was about 3, cos he would still sometimes nap, and even took it on holiday when he was nearly 4 so he could sleep in it if we went out at night, if he got tired i wouldnt want him napping on chairs lol. x |

| Izzy loves to walk but I still take the pushchair if we are going shopping etc - mainly cos (as LisaG can vouch for) Izzy just goes off on her own...she doesn't care! I can use a harness which i do if we are just going for a short time and need to be quick, but she doesnt like it much! |

| I'm weaning him off his pushchair a little bit now, but still rely on it a fair bit when we go to town and doing big shops as we don't drive so theres no way i'd be able to carry a load of shopping and control a toddler aswel.

| I keep mine in the car still, as if we're going to be out for a long while, she needs it, it's not so much she gets tired, it's more the fact that she's a pain in the backside sometimes and it's an easy way to keep her under control. I think I'll be using mine for a few more months at least |

| we dont really use his buggy any more and havent for about 10 months. its always in the car and if we are going out all day i take it out but he'll only go in it when he's tired or he's miss behaving.
it actually works now as a punishment if he does not behave when out walking. we say if you do not hold daddys hand you will go on the buggy, he then holds daddys hand |

| Connie is stil in her buggy pretty much full time, I don't drive and everywhere I go is a bus ride away or a pretty far walk so at the minute we still use the buggy daily. Obviously for a trip to the corner shop etc, connie walks - but like you girls, she prefers to take herself off, or worse - SHOP LIFT lol xx |

| We hardly use the buggy now because Wil walks everywhere or goes on his tricycle (it has a handle to push it along). |

| We hardly put Aimee in hers, but that is normally because James is there to hold her hand and I will push Lily in her pram. But... I have got a double that I intend (not used it yet) to use when walking to the park with both of them as I have to walk along a main road and Aimee just runs off given half the chance. I do expect to have given it up by the time she is 2 1/2, maybe 3 at worst. x |

| Ellies 16 months and I've no intention of getting rid of it, in fact I'm going to buy a new one soon. Maybe I'm a bad mummy or maybe my kids are monkeys but I plan on keeping it til she's at least 3 and a half. I love long walks and ellie usually has a nap in her pushchair. |
