Well I could do the job with my eyes shut, but the bloke who interviewed me and would be my boss and who I would work with every day was a complete cock, we didn't really hit it off, he was a rubbish interviewer and I think he was a little threatened that I was more qualified then him. Although the job suits, I'm not sure I could work with someone like him and I don't think I came across as well as I could have done because in my head I kept thinking what an idiot he was Laughing

Never mind!

Ah well at least you can have the satisified feeling that you were too good for it! Its worse coming away feeling that you fluffed it up/looked like a numpty (as happens to me in interviews - I get so nervous!)

You never know he might give it to you!
Would you take it or is he that much of a willy you couldnt?

I don't think I would take it, aside from the fact I thought he was an arrogant little poo, the job security side of things worries me, he's a self employed broker and it's a dodgy market at the moment, so if he doesn't do as well as he claims he will (and the figures he was quoting were ridiculous, I was very successful before I had Chloe and I was doing less in a good market then what he says he will do in the next year) then I would be the first out the door, because he's not going to pay me if he's not earning himself, also it's a new role, so he was very vague about hours/pay etc so I came away feeling very unsure about it all. My instinct is definitely saying no to this one

At least you went for it.

It's probably a good thing he was a cock too as it will make the decision easier if you do get it.

The right job will come along x

Deffo not worth it if he is a complete knob cheese as you would not enjoy it at all. My friend used to work for a self employed broker and as you say the minute things slowed down she was let go as he went into self preservation mode!! xx

I'd run a mile if I was you. I have turned down perfectly good jobs for the simple reason that my future boss came across as a complete knob.

The right job will come along sooner or later
