| silly OH comment to throw in the mix that is. Had to have a chat to OH last week about how he needs to do more with C and not just when im at work and he has no choice. Anyway he didnt take too kindly to it at first but after i pointed out i was exhausted from being preg, working nights and doing everything for a toddler at least 6 days of the week while his contribution is limited to cooking us dinner (and leaving the kitchen in a mess for me to clean after) and bunging some washing on, he seemed to get the hint and apologised promising he would try harder (please god)
Anyway an hour or so later after he finished sulking he came over and said Oh well babe not to worry in a couple of weeks you will be past the 1st trimester and wont be tired anymore
Im sorry wtf? Lets take pregnancy outta the equation for a mo and ive still been tired for oooooh 16 months now and probably am going to be for another 20 odd years to come! I gently pointed out that even in my 2nd trimester i was still gonna be working nights and bringing up a stunt toddler so 2 weeks was probably a little optomistic for not feeling tired anymore |

| Lol wouldn't it be lovely if men could experience pregnancy! I think they'd just lay in bed all day long moaning and making demands!
If only they understood! |

| Grrr, I know exactly what you mean, Simon is good around the house and does cook dinner for us ready for when I finish work BUT he only really only looks after Libby while I'm at work. For example I thought with him having 2 days off this weekend that he would get up with Libby (he's normally at work for 5am), sort out her breakfast, change her etc. But no he pretended to be asleep when she woke up even though I knew he was awake because he jiffling his feet!!! We've got a week off next week and I've told him I'm looking forward to him getting up with her, we'll see if that happens!! As for what you do, I'm absolutely exhausted and I only work in an office for 4 hours a day, I couldn't imagine how knackered you must be. xxx |

| Nope
as for the talk ive been up since 6am with her cos he asked me to make her morning bottle while he got dressed for work - it takes 90 secs ffs and done everything as usual. gave her brekkie, dressed, took her shopping when i took mum, did lunch, took her to park, came home made her snacks, did laundry, played with her made her dinner. When he came in near her bedtime he announced he was off for a fag and i asked if after he could give her a wash and put her in her jammies and got 'oh cant you do it while i have a smoke'.
talk went well then! im currently not talking to him
I have her all day mondays, tuesdays and wednesdays except for half an hour after bath while he dresses her and makes her a bedtime bottle. Thurs i sleep after nights and even then i get up and sit with her during supper and iggle piggle so i get to see her. Friday i sleep til 1 after mu night shift (and after 13 hours at work it dont feel like a lot) then have her all afternoon again til bedtime and the weekend the only time im not caring for her is the 8 hours im working either on a sat or a sun. His only responsibility is the one day a week he has her when im at work and if hes working thurs and mum has her not even then or just for 8 hours on a weekend. Dont get me wrong im her mum i know but jeez half an hour off once in a while to have dinner without feeding a toddler too would be nice

another arse stomping brewing... Yeah but he's her dad?! Why do we always feel really guilty for just wanting 5 mins peace?! I always feel guilty for asking Stu to look after Ollie while I have a shower or something but why??? He's Ollie's parent too, not just me!! Us women are so silly sometimes eh!! |
