I'm not sure really. It didn't surprise me one bit what he said and I'm sure a lot of people say things in banter when they think no one else is listening. However, Ron Atkinson was sacked for making an off air remark that was racist as an example was made of him as there is a continuous effort to kick racism out of football. If Andy Gray isn't sacked, does that mean that sexism is acceptable? It's a diificult one xxx

| hmm at first I thought how stupid...but tbh when I read exactly what he was saying and the fact its not the first time stuff like this has happened then yeh he is sexist pig who needs the sack!

I've just watched all the clips and now I'm so glad he was sacked! There was one where he asked the female reporter to tuck his microphone down his pants

Im guessing that there is so much more to it, and a lot more has come out of the woodwork now that he has exposed himself and was already warned. If it was just the one comment, then I think it would have been a bit silly, but, I now get the impression he probably deserves it.

I'm sure there's more to it, but I cheered when I heard. It's about time refs got respect, especially in the pro game. How are we meant to teach our kids about respect in football if they see grown ups getting away with it!
