Gracie today is refusing to keep a nappy on and she will sit on her potty but wont go she is holding it and getting herself in a bit of a 2and8 about it cos she is bursting she has had an accident or 2 to which i popped her on her potty but then she had finished by that time i have not got angry just said oh well never mind.

this cant be good for her holding it so what can i do to encourage her

i have given chocolate and a star chart but obviously she is ready of sorts

i know it sounds weird, but try putting potty in bathroom and when you go take her with you, she might just need to see you doing it. or try the big toilet, she might bypass it. just a thought.

rich used to hold it, so i used to put it in front of a tv programme and he sit on it while watching and forget what he was sitting on, after a couple of times they get the message

We had this with Jack and now he goes straight on the toilet, you can get little seats so they dont fall down. Jacks is Toy Story

Our problem is getting him to poo on there. He wee's everytime but wont poo!

we have a toilet seat she dosnt like that she just screams she loves the potty just wont pee on it she did 4 in 45mins 2 nights ago but nothing since then

with poos hv told me its harder to get them to poop as they dont like the dropping sensation hun x

i sit on the floor with her and we do drawing on her blackboard, or look at books or i read her a story and we also play with her thomas trains x
