Been having pains in my bump for a few days now which i think are just braxton hicks as whole bump goes rigid and only thing that eases it is leaning forward. They have been getting quite regular and worse when i walk even very short distances and ease off when i sit down. They feel worse than they did with C as they are really damn uncomfortale but ive been told this happens in 2nd pg

Then tonight started getting a sharp stabbing pain in my right side, feels like someones stuck a knife in my right kidney and its coming out through the front if that makes sense, at one point was so bad eve breathing hurt and ended up just lying on sofa trying to breathe as shallowly as possible. Ive taken 2 cocodamol and 20mg of buscopan in last two hours as was given them in last pg for gallstones and finally after over an hour its gotten bearable so i can sit up again.

Got mw in morning so am going to tell her then but has anyone experienced it before?

All I can tell ya hun is that being you are so close to the end, you will experience really weird pains. Some can be quite scary too. If the pain is literally taking your breath away..maybe just go in to hospital for a quick check over. Hope you get better Lise. xxx

At around this point in pregnancy I got that pain in my side and thought it was labour lol rang the ward and was told the usual line "take some paracetamol and put your feet up" Rolling Eyes I've no idea what it was as it went after a few hours....could it be some trapped wind or a stitch?? Have you been doing more than usual. When I had the pain I had just moved house, completely unpacked the living and sorted everything out, and taken rubbish to the skip with my mate's help. Think it was baby's way of telling me to calm down a bit. It bloody hurt though I couldn't sit down as it got worse Sad xx

Well saw mw this morning. She said should have probably gone up and had it checked after needing that much pain relief to ease it and if it happens again to ring hosp or if my uswual right sided pain gets any worse, shes also given me a form for another urine test as recently had antibugs for a water infection and she said the back to back BH could be just my body gearing up for march or cud be irritability from another water infection esp in light of the kidney pain.

She had a poke and prod and Awens all fine and made a note of how high up my legs the swelling is going now as its up to my shins and can now press and leave indents on my legs. She said i dont look like ive got 8 weeks stretch left in me lol, lets hope shes wrong though am def uncomfortable enough to agree with her! Already wondering how much longer i can drive. In my old car with C i kept going til 36 weeks but this new ones got different style seats and if i sit far enough forward to reach pedals my belly touches the steering wheel!
