Being grateful for what you have _
PostSubject: Being grateful for what you have   Being grateful for what you have EmptyFri Jan 28, 2011 4:49 am

My OH has his moments and is a terrible nag, moans when I come on here, gets stroppy because he isn't getting his leg over as often as he would like and never changes the toilet roll but compared to a lot on here recently he is an angel and your rants and moans are making me more grateful for what he does so thanks Being grateful for what you have 266628

This is what he does:
all the cooking including making lunches to take to work
cleans the house
walks the dogs twice a day
manages all the finances
picks up and drops Wil off lots

I'm the same, realising how lucky i am. We text each other all throughout the day, when i work a weekend night he has the kids all day while i sleep and he wakes me up with some dinner and a cuppa lol.
He does some cleaning, most the cooking, never goes out, always asks what i would like to do. So yes i am lucky.

Although he doesn't change the bloomin toilet roll either!! He's even been known to leave half a square just so he doesn't have to!

Yes mine is quite good too in that he goes to work to contribute to the house etc and he does do jobs like lawn mowing, putting bins out and washes up after dinner every day. To be honest I still think i do a lot more given that we both work full time but i just dont think that men see the things that need to be done in the same way that we do. I'm with babymilly, mines useless around the house but he's good in other ways!
He has the boys so I can go to the gym and college.
He's teaching me how to cook better
He makes me laugh every single day!
He's thoughtful, taking me out for a slap up meal tonight to thank me for helping him while his wrist is broken!
He tries to help every now and then around the house.
And he is my sex slave! Lol
