I have been have some problems *whispers and points* (down there) for a little while

Including having AF 2 weeks out of 3, almost constant period like pain, and having to stop during *whispers* (sex) as it was too painful. Anyway I eventually went to the doctors (see previous post). She did an examination and it HURT like hell

Anyway she said she couldn't see the strings ( what fluffing strings, it's a fooff not a flipping guitar!!!!). Apparantly they're there to check the coil is still in place and they use them to pull it out when the time comes!!

So she took some swabs just in case and now I have to have a scan to check it hasn't moved .
Eeeeeek!!!

Oh and then she said not to rely on it for contraception, now I am worried what if it's too late!!!!

oh i hope it all goes ok, and ur coil is still in place (or i suppose maybe if ur coil was out of place then at least u wud know thats the prob and its easy fixed)

myfrioend had alot of trouble with her coil.. she bled loads she was in utter pain.. they couldn find the strings.. went for many scans.. n then they had to knock her out to get it out in the end. but it messed up her womb lining

Oh poop! I hope they manage to find it hun, I'm sure there isn't anywhere it can go.

ohhh hopefully everything will be ok..
but why the fluff do they give ppl the coil if it can't be relied on ??

do u want anymore? my friend got pregnant with the coil twice (sorry) but then no contraceptive can be 100% i know people that have got pregnant on the pill too, hope it gets sorted out 4 u xx

You should know about the strings as they're supposed to tell you to check regularly that they're still there! Hope everythings ok honey! i'm terrified of mine moving out of place

No I dont want any more (we only have a 2 bed house and cant afford to move!! LOL) I have googled it and sound very much like that's what it is. Just want it sorted now as today it's quite painful!!

erm, whoops!!! my maid of honour has this problem!! she keeps testing to make sure she isnt lol

sometimes ur foof can grow its skin over the strings. but sounds same as lisa... it may well have popped up inside u ??

dont worry, they will find it and retrieve it, i had 2 attempts at removing mine and i only had it in 2 months, i have a tilted womb apparently so took 2 docs to retrieve it ! all pretty painless tho xx
