| Great idea !!!! I would volunteer but (touch wood) so far Cerys has been a good baby, we havent hit any major problems. I cant think of anything useful as a subject that I could contribute, except being a mummy in general |

| what a fab idea.. I had a c section 32 hours after my waters broke and my stitches burst afterwards, I had a very hard time bonding with my baby consequently.. I wish I knew how to cope and what the experience could be like from someone who had been through a similar experience or traumatic time. |

| Right well we have had a really good responce so far, will leave it a little longer to see who else wants to contribute as I have an idea for the 'popular' subjects like difficulty breasfeeding/overcoming problems
I think a good way to do it is a sticky thread fora subject, then introduce each Mummy with a little explanation of their situation (all the mums who expressed an interest in helping on this will be involves) Then when someone asks a question each Mummy can answer - that way we get a really good idea of how people cope/ways to go about things! |

| Caitlin has a severe milk allergy. Dont know if that useful...
I breastfed her for 8 weeks and she screamed constantly (so it seemed). Thought was reflux, and then colic. Really knocked myself esteem that I couldnt settle her. Gave her formula as thought it may 'fill her' and stop the crying and the 2nd time she ended up in ambulance taking a severe reaction. Now she on special formula and see's dietician and consultant every few months...
I could help with diagnosis, symptoms, the stress of caring for a child with an allergy, milk free weaning, linked allergys (eggs, excema etc)....
Im rambling on now as usual lol. Pm if you want more info xxx
