| Does anyone actually have one every sunday? And if so do you have the same meat every week? We started having one a few weeks ago, think we had it for 3 weeks every sunday and have missed a couple. I didnt fancy doing a roast today but wanted something just as satisfying so have just put a beef casserole in the oven (and it's smelling good already ). Just being nosey really xxx |

| In the winter yes we usually have a roast at home or go out for one. Today we're having lamb. We don't eat til about 5 or 6 as we like to do other stuff in the afternoon.
Ps we call it Sunday dinner where I live. Even if you have it in the week it's called Sunday dinner. |

He does chicken, beef, lamb, pork or gammon depending on what we have in the freezer and what he fancies. Not this week though, we had cottage pie and it was yummy (Wil had 3 helpings ) Home made rice pudding for afters too |

| I love sunday dinner! In the winter we have one most Sundays but to be honest a lot of times if we are busy we will go out to save time on the cooking and washing up! If we cook it ourselves then we normally have beef or chicken xx |

| We only have them about once a month, my mum never used to do roast dinner on a Sunday but hubby's mum always did and apparantly they used to have french fancies before their Sunday night bath too so he wants to get into a tradition of doing it for when Stephen (and hopefully brothers and sisters ) are growing up. I'm a pain though because I'm a veggie and hubby isn't so he can't do loads of meat or it won't get eaten! xxx |

| Not every week but we tend to meet up with Matt's family on a Sundays (two or three a month) so then we always have a roast. If we don't have a roast I try to do some kind of meat and veg dinner rather than rice or pasta. It's normally Chicken but we do a gammon/bacon joint sometimes or occasionally pork (whatever is cheapest in the shop ) |

| My aunty does one every sunday in life for the benefit of my granda. Whole family go (well about 12 people), and its a chance for him to see great grand kids. I havent been since Oct though as he'd been in hosp & then iv been sick on and off. She does pork fillet/chicken/roast beef/stews sometimes... with loads of veg and dif tatties. If left to me id prob make an effort once a month or so, and will prob try harder when Caitlin older. Tonight I went to mums and had lasagne, chips and salad and it was yum! |

| We started having one every week, but then I got heavily pregnant (and then had a screaming bubba) and stopped. Then we had so many roast dinners over Xmas/New Year that we stopped for a couple of weeks. We went to the in laws yesterday though and had a lovely roast dinner, so it has given me the incentive to start doing them again. x |
