im at a loss. nothing is working this time around. ziltch. the weans gums are all inflamed looking and sore. iv bought dentinox/calpol/bonjela teething gells. ashton parsons etc. cold flannel, the lot! he is constantly bumming his gums and chewing on his fingers. i can see 6 little buds all just right there ready to pop thru surely they wont come in all at once?

what else can i try that will help him ? he actually winces when u have a feel, even when u put the spoon in his mouth sometimes too

Have u tried an amber teething necklace I got 1 4 Sophia and I know a few ladies on here have used them they r good

have u given calprofen or baby neurofen or whatever... i find it looooads better than calpol?

yeah ibuprofen can also be used with paracetamol so you could try using both at once? also teethers that have been in the freezer (and apparently banana/cucumber can be frozen for 10 minutes if you think he is able to chew them)

Arwyn has an amber teething anklet and every time she looks like she's teething (red chheks/chewing fists/sore bum) she's never appeared to be in pain or grumpy

iv never had a sore bum teething baby and hope i never do never had a sore bum baby either! iv ordered a dino anklet, see how we get on. its calprofen i use ben chews his fingers, he isnt at the grab n hold and stuff in mouth stage yet so i gotta hold it for him. hed prob gag on the nanna, he gaggs on his baby food if i make it too thick!

hmmmmmm i suppose if you have the time and inclination to sit and hold something in his mouth a frozen ice pole or teether would probably help! but there is a limit to how long you can do that for
