I saw the MW at 27+4 and she measured my bump at 29cm then, today I had my 28 week check at 28+6 and she has written that my bump was 28cm....now im a bit confused as to whats going on...as surely I cant have shrunk!!

Do you reckon it all depends on who measured??

Yeah prob depends on who measured it or positition that LO is lying in. They dont mind unless its more than 3-4cm out to your weeks.

At 34 weeks I measured 31cm and had a few dif midwifes measure before being refered. I ended up being seen by consultants for suspected UGR (restricted growth)& had numerous scans due to measuring 5-6 weeks to small and hight BP. At 40 weeks I measured 34cm.... and Caitlin was born at 8lb 1oz lol! I dont know what position she had got herself into the wee minx but she def hid herself well. Even the midwifes were like... oopps, so she wasnt small then

The MW was new to the surgery though and did my bloods and listened in to bubs plus wrote my Mat B1 form out though before actually writing the measurement down, so maybe she has written it wrong or the one last week did...I dunno! xx

I wouldnt worry hun, whenever I lay down on the bed my belly goes rock hard and looks HUGE so I'm measuring about 2 weeks ahead (depending who measures me, I had a different mw on friday and was only 1 week ahead). It's only an estimate and sounds like yours is spot on. xxx
