My cat Oscar has taken it to a new level now. I'm currently in the bath and He is laying on the edge of the bath right near my head. He now has to sleep next to me when I sleep and follows me every where. And keeps getting in the car when I getmin the car or jumps in when I pull up and open the door. He followed me when pg with Rowan but he's not leaving me at all.

Anyone else had a pet this over the top?

My cat was like that with my first pregnancy, never bothered the baby once he was born. He used to lay under my boobs on bump and side of bath or on toilet next to bath! It's weird isn't it

my mums dog used to follow me everywhere, even when i was bf she did the same x

We have 3 cats
Squeak, the 'mother' and miss Independent, watches me from afar and if I'm asleep on settee comes under the blanket and sleeps by bump, she is careful where she treads and watches bump move

Lola, the fuss pot sleeps at my feet but walks all over me, she is a pest but if I'm crying or in pain she comes for a hug

Then there's kc she is my baby, her fav place is nuzzled in my neck, she follows me everywhere and if I'm on loo and forgot to shut the door fully, she comes in and jumps on lap. She sits about a meter away at all timrs watching me or sleeping near me

Yup they weird but I love them to bits

Frostie, my 3 year old dog, is protective and if I lie on the floor he comes and licks me to check I am okay. (I used to get him to help me up from the floor when pg)

Animals know when something is going on.

My dogs are both very protective of Wil and will stand between him and anything they perceive as a threat.

My cat absolutely hated me when I was pg with Ollie, she used to claw me every time I walked past her

Shes currently on my lap having cuddles though, so it seems she doesn't like boys
