My strange little girl very rarely has a bedtime bottle, she is still pretty much fed on demand and her milk intake varies greatly so she has no 'routine'


she generally has a bottle anytime bedtween 4 and 5 and maybe some puree if she is in the mood an hour or so after.

she then just wants her bed so even tho every night when i take her up to bed i take a bottle with me she might have an oz or more often she wont have anything at all she just wants to sleep.

has anyone else any experience of this or is it just my child thats crazy?

lilly was like this for a while between 4-7 months, i put it down to the fact i was weaning her so i gave her food earlier so she would then take about 3 - 4 oz milk right before bed, every child is different though, sorry to not be much help!! xxx

yeah alfie went through the stage when he wouldnt take his bedtime bottle because he was too tired. we ended up putting him to bed earlier. wat time does she go to bed? could it be perhaps her teeth? x

she is teething Ames, but she is just tired. she wants to go to bed and thats all there is to it lol.

today she had a bottle at 3-3.30 had a nap, got up at 5.20 had some puree and went back to bed without any milk at 7.

whatever time she has puree she generally has a 5/6oz bottle a couple of hours after except night time.

have just been in the bath and given her 5oz as she had stirred and she has gone back off!

she really is just strange!

No advice sorry but think it's these 2010 babies that are random little things!!

Sometimes L doesn't want all his bedtime bottle so I have started giving his tea at 4.30pm and stopped dream feed at 10pm and last couple of nights he has drunk more. X
