I got my letter and I have to go for a scan on Weds (I posted that the doc thinks my coil has moved )

Anyway the letter says I will having a transabdominal scan and a trans vaginal scan...does this mean what I think it means?? I'm trying not to google it as I know I will end up worrying myself!!

So can anyone confirm what this is or google it for me!!! LOL I am such a wuss!!

I think it does mean what u think it means...im sure you will be fine though try not to stress about it or it will make things worse. Is anyone going with u?

Hang on, is it just the same as an internal? If it is then really dont worry i had one when i was preg (the doc thought he saw two heart beats and had to double check and really it was fine

My biggest worry is that I had an internal when I first went to the docs with this and it hurt like hell!! Oh no I have to go to work first, so I will have to take clean knickers and some baby wipes or someting with me!! LOL

I had a few of those during my pregnancy it doesn't hurt and does not really feel like an internal but it is a little uncomfortable

It is an internal scan, relax as much as you can hun. They aren't really that bad tbh, if you tense up it does hurt but just lay back and think of England xxxx

i had a internal scan with my second pregnancy and remember watching nurse put a condom on what i thought was a dildo then smothering it in ky jelly !
was not sore at all for me
