hi everyone,

well i've been feeling better so thoguht i'd go back to work and see how i went i have this week and next then i'm off for a week and i also have a consultant appt next thurs and wanted to know if i could cope with work so if needed could get sick note from him, as my doc is useless.

anyway i caused a shock in the office they were not expecting me back AT ALL, but i explained that i felt ok and that i desperatley wanted to close my cases properly and say goodbye to my kids, especially as some of them i've been there social worker for 3 years, i shouldnt just disappear thats what others do, my new manager acepts this.

so i'm being told by colleagues how well i'm looking etc when one cow bag says

"bloody hell your bump is huge i wasnt that big when i was 9 months and you got ages yet" this was then repeated by her minions about how big my bump was.

i'm now cradeling my bump saying i know i'm big but i'm happy with it and crikey he/she is active, as i say this they walk away.

i was so upset that they could say such a thing, but i held it together, refused to think about it till on way home,i've had a cry and russ as told me that they idiots

i know my bump is big but mw not worried about it and i'm going to have a big baby, russ is 6ft 4 and solid built and i'm no lean bean.

but why are people so cruel, they all know at work, thanks to others that i've struggled to get pg and that i'm so loving being pg, they seem to want to make me sad, they seem to get a kick out of it,

I saw your FB post huni some people really need to put their brains in gear before their mouths. Every pregnancy is different and everybody carries differently. I think all expectant mums look beautiful big or tiny, they're creating this amazing little miracle (think they may be a bit jealous?) Dills xxxxxxxxx

When I was pregnant I use to say to my OH 'why do people feel it is ok to say omg your huge\tiny' you wouldn't walk up to someone and say omg your so fat/thin so why is it ok when your pregnant. Inuse to get so upset when everyone said I was small. Every bump is beautiful big or small xx

How dare they say that - as if there is something wrong with you for having a big bump - bumps come in sorts of sizes just like the babies that live in them!

If I were you I'd take pleasure in the fact they they are clearly thick is shit and can't help being so stupid!

Why do people think they have the right to say that sort of thing just because a woman is pregnant! Take no notice hun, see it as the bump thats protecting your lovely baby.

I dont know this woman, but when I was pregnant people used to always tell me how huge my bump was (it was huge!) and couldnt help themselves but comment on it.

They are probably just jealous x

russ has come in and took me out for dinner, to show me and my bump off lol
and i had choc icecream it definityl hit the spot.

i'm going to ignore her and keep out of her way from now on, i have 36 working days left till its over and then the real excitement begins lol

i think sometimes people dont realise they're offending you, the amount of times i had comments like are you carrying twins? as if you wouldnt be upset. im sure you look beautiful hun xx

aww how insensitive.i understand how u feel i had amahoosive bump and people felt the need to touch and rub and comment on how many where in there and when i said one they looked confused.. a bum is abump big or smal enjoy it x

I dont think ppl mean to be insenstive when they comment on bump size hon, ive never let it worry me, ive been told i look small for 8 months and then also been told i look fit to bust, figure that one out! Put a pic up in bumpies for us so you can compare with us current fatties, you will see there really are lots of diff shapes and sizes in there xxx
