| Cerys is a good eater but is eating less at each meal I've noticed. I leave her to get on with eating either with/without a fork. The last couple of months when she doesnt want anymore she throws food on the floor or shoves it off her tray. I still cant give her a plate because if this I know alot of toddlers go through this How do you deal with it? Do you try and discipline with "no" etc etc or do you/would you ignore it ?? Im in two minds about how to go about it because if I discipline her (or try to) it seems to me like I'm giving her negative attention so she will therefore do it more. Any advice appreciated because I'm fed up of cleaning up the mess and she's got to learn not to do it x |

| lol I have to keep the dogs out because she will give her food to them!
What I do now is if she starts faffing I ask her is she all done and finished....chances are she thinks 'ay up she's going to take my food and Im not done yet!' and carries on eating!!! Sometimes this happens 3 times in a meal, and each time its like she gets distracted by faffing with the food but doesn't want to give it up just yet! |

| Callum gone from doing this to putting his food on and off his plate drives me crazy x
I use to put it back on the plate providing the floor was clean and then if he kept doing it i took it away x |

| Is it every meal or certain ones? Alfie started doing this at lunch time and i found that it seemed he was just bored with the food he was getting (mainly sandwiches.) So i started giving him totally new stuff and he eats the lot without any intentionally going on the floor! I know it's probably different cause Alfie is younger & chances are he'll start again but just thought i'd through it in there. |
