| What age did your baby/babies sleep through?
Aimee was about 8 weeks.
Lily will be 8 weeks on Thursday and still wakes at 2am and 5am for a bottle (she also has a dream feed at 10.30).
She is getting more than enough milk in the day with 3 hourly feeds but still wants her night ones.
I know it's a bit early to expect her to go through, but when she is really tired she has done the night with just a 4am feed (about 3 times now), so I know she can do it.

| My two are at two extremes I think.
Hannah slept through (11.5 hours with no feed) from 5 weeks. She has only woken in the night twice since then when she was ill or had a tooth coming through and even then settled straight back with a dose of calpol. She is an early riser though and I can't get her to sleep past 6/6.30 no matter what.
Thomas on the other hand wanted a night feed until 5 1/2 months and even after that never consistently slept through ever, even now he wakes once in the night at least twice a week. It is only ever for a quick tuck in but it does my head in when my sleep is broken these days lol.
I did nothing different with the kids, they have both always had the same bedtime and night time routine from day one I guess it's just the way they are.

| H slept through from about 5months ish. I was very strict with him and he sleeps so well now even L screaming doesn't really wake him. Lewis has been a bugger and sometimes wakes but he now goes to bed 6.30/6.45 and has a dream feed at 10.30 and sleeps till I go in at 7am. If he does wake earlier he doesn't cry. If H wakes earlier he doesn't cry just chatters away. X |

| I dont know whether to feel opimisitc or terrified at reading the above posts! I just get the feeling Lily will need some coaxing to go through the night. She will be 8 weeks on Thursday, so you never know... she may surprise me! x |

| Iv just checked caitlins red book as my memory is crap. Apparently Caitlin slept midnight-830am at 12 weeks (I never did the whole dream feed thing, I always kept her up late and then felt I was getting a full nights sleep) and then at 16weeks she was going 10pm-9am (11hrs). I think from 4mths-about 12mths she did 10-11 hrs and in the last cpl months its stretched out to 12hrs most nights 830-830. When I say she was doing 10-9 from 16wks I mean she didnt require a btl. Caitlin still woke numerous times in the night for a dummy, and she still wakes at around 4am for a chat/play but is able to settle herself most nights after 30min or so. I still wouldnt say Caitlin 'sleeps through', but at least im not getting up for a feed/bum change. Im in shock at babys sleeping through from 5/6 wks, I want one of those next time please! |

| Amelia was 3 weeks when I stopped trying to wake her for a feed. She was always so lazy and I had to try loads of things to wake her up in the 1st 3 weeks. In the end I realised that she'd wake me when she was hungry. I was worried she'd loose weight but she stayed on the 50th for months. x |

| Jake slept through from about 8 weeks I think, I was bfing him and when he started to wake in the night cause he was hungry he got a bottle for last feed and then started sleeping through again.
Aron slept through from a week old as he was on meds and they made him sleep.
Rhys I am still waiting for! He does 3 hours then wants more grub, only a couple of times we have had more than 3 hours from him!! Tonight he was fed at 10.30, then 1.30 (3 hours) then again at 3.30 and 5am! He sometimes has a couple of oz's and sometimes 5 or 6 oz's! He is a random little article ! Xx |

| Wil was about 4 months if my memory serves me correctly. He only ever did one night feed (I consider anything after 5.30am to be morning)
My MW friend suggested giving water instead of milk in the night once he got to 16lb because sometimes they are taking the night feed out of habit/ comfort rather than physical need. Water is less interesting so after a few nights they just don't bother waking up for it - it worked for Wil |

| Harry went from needing 2/3 night feeds up until 5 weeks when one night he didn't wake me for a feed (I never woke him for a dream feed) - I was crapping myself the first morning as he hadn't made a sound!! So from 5 weeks he would sleep from 9pm til 8am xx |

| MJ was sleeping through at 3 months old then at 6 months to 9 months she was wanting comfort at night as her peggys were playing up but by 9 months I had her through all night. My son on the other hand is a stubborn little bugger and thinks being awake is much more fun than sleeping.
I hoping to get him to go through the night soon. He is awake at 10 till 11 pm now for milk then again at 3am but we're hoping to cut out the 3am feed by watering down his milk slowly until it is just water (on the HV advise that he is getting rewarded for waking with milk) but she said his adjusted age is 2 weeks younger so he should be an all nighter by 9 months and 2 weeks of age. But my pov is he will sleep all night when he is ready xxxxxxxx |
