I am due to go on hols in the middle of the month and as af has arrived early this month, she is defo going to arrive when we are in the big apple.

Don't want the hassle of having my period when I am away. I am debating going back on the pill for a month but am a bit unsure as I am worried it will effect ttc the following month.

Any advice greatly appreciated

I dont really know hun about it affecting TTC but i know when i go back on the pill i bleed for a month solid just bear that in mind x

NO! LOL..sorry! Not for just one month! There is a good chance that you could conceive while you are away and relaxing. Don't mess with mother nature unless you really need to. xxx

i would try and not go back on it, your periods are all over the place when you come off the pill so it might not even come on your holidays x

I know it's a pain in the butt being on whilst on hols but I wouldn't go back on it for the 1 month. I also bleed for 5 weeks everytime I start a new pill. x

If you don't want the hassle of AF/tampons etc - consider a moon cup - I have really heavy flow part way through - even super super tampons don't keep up now but moon cup works fine, on normal days I can use for 8 hours with no worry at all.

If you go to the docs they can give you tablets to stop ur period just for a week, my friend does this all the time when she goes on hols as she isnt on the pill

Its a pain that af has to be due just when you are going away. I have exactly the same problem , my af is due sunday and i go away tomorrow so im taking norethisterone to delay my period till I get back.
