Saw a bunch of red roses in M&S for....... £50!!!!! OMG I would go mad if oh spent that on a few roses!

I hate red roses they are the height of tackiness for valentine's day.

If a bloke ever bought me red roses I would do this to him but using the flowers rather than a fish. I would also dump him for being insincere and cheesy.

i've seen a few people gushing about their roses on facebook and thinking, "gee, he put a lot of thought into that!" i'd rather my OH bought me a wee sweetie that he knows i like, at least he'd put some effort into it.

lame!

i would be peed off if my OH spent £50 on flowers, i'd rather have the money!

my ex once sent me flowers and I was soooo angry because I had been going on and on about a pair of jeans I wanted from topshop. I love sending flowers to my mum though because she really appreciates them. I get her a bunch sent every now and again just to say thanks because shes always there for me

I got roses from my hubby and am so chuffed with them they were a mixed bunch of red pink and white, it may be original but its the thought that counts

I'm not a flower person so my oh knows not to buy me them

Neither am I normally but they were just what I needed to give me a lift after the last few days

Awwww don't cry hun, I love picking flowers out for him. I have a no pink rule so it's a challenge

After 3 and hlf years I think Stu has finally got the msg that I dont like getting flowers! I got vodka instead this year

I think a token bunch is nice if thats your type of thing... but £50

that bouquet would have been like a massive alarm bell for me Laura.

wow.. i would be mega pissed if perry spent that money! i went mad at him for spending 20quid on lillys when i had paige lol!!

saying that i had this ex.. he used to buy me loads of crap.. i would say every week he would bring a toy, or flowers into college. he must of spent alot on some of them. and my last ex got me 18 red roses which cost 3.50 each! i went mental lol x

I love flowers i got a one of those rose in the tube with petals n things which i thought was lovely and nowhere near £50 xx

I love flowers. I got a huge bunch of flowers delivered when I got home from work yesterday which did include red roses and lots of other things, they're gorgeous and sitting nicely on my dining room table. I don't know how much they cost and I don't care, its the only time of year that he's the slightest bit romantic!
