| Subject: Crappy couple of days Tue Feb 15, 2011 9:22 pm | |
| Well i went back to DAU yesterday, they said my pre ec levels in my blood have gone up again but as my bp is better and urine is clear they wont act on that on its own, they asked about how i was feeling and i said id been nauseous for a couple of days and having visual disturbances and pain in the top of my bump so they discharged me and said to get my mw to see me in week and return if i needed to and im to go back up for a check up after my 36 week scan So pottered around yesterday then neil cooked me dinner after C went to bed and laid on sofa t watch Dark Knight. Gave up took some gaviscon and went to bed about 1015 as my hips and top of bump was hurting. But didnt sleep well. Between 2330 and 0315 was up at least half a dozen times with my stomach feeling rigid and painful which figured was braxton hicks but by 315 the pain was in my chest too and going through to my back and i wanted to vomit. Ended up sat rocking on side of bed trying to ease it so woke Neil up and he took me up to work. Actually getting up and moving around eased the pain to manageable levels but the nausea stayed, they did my bp in A and E and it was 152/77 so fairly reasonable for me and had a chat to one of the docs up there. He thinks even with the double dose of omeprazole im on and taking gaviscon at night my reflux has gotten wrose and made the muscles at top of my stomach and oesophagus go into spasm which had caused the pain. Hes given me a drug called maxalon which is for nausea and helps gastric emptying but am only to take it if really need it as it does cross the placenta at this stage. I did take one last night as felt so horrendous and a huge whack more gaviscon. This morning just feel like ive been kicked all over. Bump achy everywhere esp at top but the horrible pain in chest and back has gone at least and nausea is manageable now so wont take anymore maxalon. Felt really stupid going up there for reflux but honestly after 4 hours of the pain was at end of tether and had hardly slept by 330. Got home and gave c her milk and she dropped off about 530 in bed with us then her and neil got up at7 and left me to sleep til 930 so got a bit of kip in the end. Doc said no more fizzy drinks, no fruit juice and fairly bland food til the end now so will add that to my list of no sugar etc, im figuring if i give it another week or so i can just start eating cardboard and water Notlongnotlongnotlongnotlongnotlongnotlongnotlongnotlongnotlongnotlong.......... |

| Awww, not too long to go now. I had to cut out all fruit juice and fizzy drinks from my diet when I was pregnant with Lily as they made me feel really bad. x |

| Oh Hun. I know how you feel I suffer from this have done since I had Rowan. The first time it happened I couldn't breath through sheer pain. Oh wanted to call 999 but I wouldn't let Him.
I get it every now and then and dread an attack last time I had it it lasted 7 hours and I felt like I'd been beaten up for 3 days after.
I really hope you start to feel better soon |
