what would you like as a first dance be it traditional or modern and upbeat , even if you are married what would you today have as your first dance song ?
we have such a love of many songs , we dont actually have an "our 1 song " more an our 100 songs ! |

| Mine was Whenever You Call by Mariah Carey &Brian McKnight. If I were to be getting married this year I'd still choose that. The idea of a fast upbeat song is cool, and if it a suits a couple then I get why people choose that but I'm a traditionalist and love a good slow love song so I'd always go for that. |

| we had a huge problem with the first dance...we just couldn't decide we love so many old ones, but decided bruno mars - just the way you are...yet on the actual day when the dj double checked with us that we definitely wanted that one, we changed it to al green, lets stay together....best decision!! for walking down the aisle we went with stand by me...ben e king...seemed pretty apt |

| We weren't planning to have a first dance at our wedding and in the heat of the moment (and the persistent nagging from various people) I snapped and said The Birdie Song (Chicken Dance) so that's what we had. If I was doing it again now I would have either The Birdie Song, Agadoo or the conga just because I can. BTW everyone who came to our wedding remembers what our first dance was. Do you remember the first dance at weddings you have been to? |
