What age was you LO when you stopped bringing changing bag everywhere & switched to a back pack? Do most people switch Caitlin has an ITNG back pack and im thinking of just starting to carry that about with me as iv saw mums of LO's similar age do the same thing. Only prob is i'l not be able to fit as much in, but then do I really need to be carrying 8 nappies and 2 changes of clothes at nearly 19 months..

I know I carry far too much about eg 8 nappies, full pk wipes, 200 nappy sacks, huge tub sudocrem, bepantham, teething gel, 2-3 dummys, vest, 2 tops, bottoms, beaker of water, a snack, toy/cpl sml books. I havent really cut down since she was a teeny baby and got used to the fact she doesnt poop through her clothes anymore ! Starting to feel a bit silly lugging this huge bag about like Mary Poppins or something

It really depends how long I'm out for - if just popping out then I put a nappy and wipes in my handbag or under the pushchair...but if out all day I still take a bag - although its never a proper 'change' bag - just like a linen bag or something

I used to just take my own bags. I spend far too much on bags to use a changing bag. but now we are potty training and venturing out with pants on I sometimes take her change bag with spare clothes/shoes etc. x

I think iv been bringing so much out as we kind of use the changing bag in the house if you know what I mean - eg use it to store all nappies etc and keep the huge boxes in spare room. Left Caitlin at her nana's today with the ITNG bag with 2 nappies, wipes, cpl nappy sacks, dummy, 1 spare outfit & cpl sml toys. Thats about as much as I could cut it down to. MIL was taking her out in pram to her friends for cpl hrs and had put 1 nappy and wipes under pram... I never think il be that brave

I think I stopped when Aimee was about 15 months, although it was just a normal bag, just a bit bigger than I would normally use. This time around, I have no idea when I will stop, as I feel like I am moving house when I go out with both of them x

I only bothered with a changing bag for the first couple of months with Libby, we dont really go anywhere without the car and there's always one in the with eveyrthing we need. Plus I hated the changing bag that went with the pram so got fed up with it. We've been an ITNG rucksack for Libby for absolutely ages now and we just put 3 nappies, about a third of a pack of wipes and some snacks/drink in it (it will fit her lunch in there as well if need be). This time I have bought a gorgeous changing bag which looks very much like a handbag so I'm hoping I'll get alot more use out of it. xxx

I have a plastic bag in my handbag with 2 nappies, a travel pack of wipes and a tiny tub of sudocrem and that's it. Wil carries his juice and snacks in his Thomas backpack. If OH is out with Wil on his own he shoves the 'change bag' from my handbag in the Thomas backpack and gets Wil to carry it We don't worry about nappy sacks because we use them for dog poos too so OH and I don't possess a jacket, coat or pair of trousers without at least a dozen in the pocket.
