I was just in the bath and shaving my legs (Yes, it does happen Laughing) and I caught the razor on my thumb nail.

It has sliced it off about 1cm down (pretty much the whole nail).

It wont stop bleeding.

I have wrapped it up in about 50 sheets of tissue and put clear tape around it, but its just pouring with blood and the tissue is drenched. What do I do?!

keep applying pressure, don't remove any towelling or tissue you've applied even if it's soaked as it will encourage more bleeding when you remove it, just add to it, I find ice or cold compress applied directly helps, then maybe call NHS direct? Hope you're ok xx

Cheers ladies... its still bleeding badly, but I have kept the tissue wrapped around it.

Lol Snoopy - bless him, he probably would!

Now I know why so many women with children stop shaving their legs! Very Happy x
