ava now has conjunctivitis, had to take her to the out of hours at the hospital, so within a month she's had an ear infection, gastroenteritis and now this, is it normal for kids to be like this or am i unlucky?

I think it's normal for them to be I'll a lot when they are very young. My 2 both had a sickness bug twice in 3 months and constantly have colds, H has just had anti b and Lewis has just had croup. The joys of parenthood x

Oh bless her, sometimes when children have been poorly their immune system is low which makes them more susceptible to other things. Hope it clears up quickly, did they give you drops?? xx

she's fine in herself, just looks a bit sore and she keeps rubbing it constantly , hopefully no more illness this year, we've had our quota.

thanks for asking Jo, im back to normal now, have even kept off 8lbs which is a bonus!

poor ava i hope she is better soon lilly has been ill on and off since the beggining of dec and its only this week she has been better!! im pretty sure its common as they tend to get one thing after another as there immune system is low, hugs xxxxxxxx

Poor ava. Ellie also has one thing after another.It's a cold now, I think they'll get better when the weather gets better.

Yeah..our banda babies have been put thru the mill with so many illnesses! Wishing Ava a speedy recovery, as well as all the other gorgeous bubba's who have been so sick these past couple months! xxx

We had the same when Izzy started nursery - every week she went she'd pick something up..so then the next week she'd be ill, then better and pick something else up!

Since she stopped going to nursery though she has been really good, nothing worse than a mild cold - yet she still sees people and kids, just not in the same way as nursery!
