| Subject: Ah bollocks UPDATED Sun Feb 20, 2011 10:33 am | |
| Mws back 2moro. I mentioned Id had 4 trips to hossie in 5 days over last weekend when bp came back down and protein went back down eventually with each visit but they said my pre ec markers in blood are raised and went up over weekend. However without bp rise and protein they dont act on it
Well she came out thurs and it had risen slightly again and had trace protei again so is coming back while on call tommorrow as she wants to see me every cpl days. BP today been 172/93 and 169/89 (booked at 110/70)and the 1st num was this morning before i went out and 2nd number was after going out but was after chillig on sofa then having a bath. In addition done 3 pee tests today and got 2 lots of 1+ protein and 1 dip looked like a 2+ to me.
Gettig frustrated now. Bp going up, blood levels up, protein doing my swede cosit comes and goes but is getting more n more frequent. The swelling in my legs has now reached my thighs and in mornings im waking up looking like my lower face has started to swell though it goesdown again fairly quick once im up and about. The pain in my right side is there and heartburns just getting worse and worse, i really cannot drink much more gaviscon! Waking up in night with headaches, last one lasted 30 odd hours.
Have a feeling unless bp settles overnight im going back up hossie 2moro. Why cant they just damn well do something now ive had enough of this tooing and froing. Do i have to get to the same stage as last time? Im i pain, im uncomfortable my poor lil toddler deserves better too than this tired fat grumpy mummy who is fretting all the time about her and her lil sis. GAH

Hope it goes ok when the me comes. Seems they are not going to let you off as easily as thought. There is clearly something wrong and based on your history they should be doing something about it! Sounds like there pussy footing around!

if it makes you happier, just tell your mw you want to be booked in for obs and monitoring. you know how bad it was last time and you are a trained nurse so you should know how bad you feel, physically and emotionally. i dont think its fair to you to suffer like this much longer xx

ugh.... sounds absolute shite to me! hope the mw is of some use today...are you hoping they reschedule the sunroof? in one way it would probably better if you feel things are really going downhill (if i remember right it got really bad with c), but it is a wee bit early as im sure you are aware - tricky isn't it. of course the ideal is that your body just starts behaving itself! anyway none of that made much sense, i hope things have settled over night and all is better today

I don't know why they are so reluctant to do anything for you, it's frustratig for me so God knows how you mus be feeling. At the very least I think they should bring you in for steroid shots just in case she has to come soonish. With the steroids at 35 weeks gestation she would be just fine, a little dinky but fine, why are they taking the bloody risk Even if they brought the cut n shut foward to 37 weeks, that would be something but they can't just leave you like this. Given your history with C they should be showing alot more concern, IMO. Have you got anymore scans left to check she's still growing properly? If not can you demand one? I'm sorry they are being so shit, I really feel for you hun x

Well im home having been to hosp for 4 off hours today. MW came this am and bp was still 160/96 with 1+ protein. She sent me back to hospital When i got there bp came down with some enforced sitting still. They tested my wee and said it was clear which im a bit sceptical of as i retested at home and still got a trace but so be it. Tracing was fine and Awen well so ended up sitting for AGES waiting for doc. She said cud have more bloods then go home and she wud ring me if anything in results. Asked how i was and i said i had a headache and felt sick and had some pain i right side and she said to see midwife twice weekly for bp checks. She also wrote i had no swelling which is intriguing since i can now leave thumb marks in my knee caps. She said unless bloods a problem i didnt need to come back or stay in and i said i wasnt gonna stay in anyway just for bp checking if mw and i can do it at home So as usual nothing happening, ive text my mw and will probs hear from her tommorrow when shes back on shift. I dunno what to think tbh ive totally lost my sense of humour now. I have leg swelling, the start of facial swelling, right sided and top of bump pain, headaches visual disturbances, shortess of breath, high bp and fluctuating protein and wonder what more gotta happen with my histroy to even pull my sec forward to 37 weeks. Its telling when your own mw says she wishes i wud just go into labour so they would HAVE to act and get her out and safe, im so $%&^*(& worried my bodys gonna let her down. Im booked for 38+5 when with C i was in hosp by 37+3, induced by 37+6 and emergency sec by 38 . Ive got no more consultant appt so its scan at 36 +4 then bp check in dau, pre op at 37+4 and sec at 38+5 Ive had enough

Well you know how I feel about the care you're receiving hun. Its absolutely disgusting and ridiculous that they are STILL not taking you seriously - you've been having symptoms since 15 weeks, got a history of PE yet they keep sending you away! Dont know what more I can say or do hun apart from and I'm here if ever you want to moan/rant. xxx

i vote you bribe the midwife into a sweep tomorrow (or do a homer - apparently it's possible but i don't recall being able to 'reach' that far by 35 weeks ) and hopefully that would get things moving enough for them have to do your section...(or section you?! )

It is time you threw a complete hissy fit (including buckets of tears) words such as 'you are going to kill me and my daughter may help' stage a sit in at the hospital and refuse to leave until they do something. threaten them with legal action/ bad publicity for the potential damage they are doing to you and Awen (do you want me to come and kick some ass on your behalf?) failing all that take C up to the hospital and let her loose then refuse to do anything about the havoc she is wrecking until they bring your section forward to 37 weeks.

Deffo sounds like it Lisa. My Bp is back to 174/93 today even with chilling at home and this evening just sat playing bingo with mum and trace protein again, ive actually taken a photo of my lower half of my face 1st thing this morning to show my mw it swells over night and my 'non swollen legs' the doctor wrote about im sure are the reason ive gaied 5lb in 9 days. But i cba going back up dau cos they wont do owt so im just gona hold on seeing my mw in next cpl days.

Well MW been out yesterday and today. Bp been ranging anywhere from 140/88 to 166/86 to 155/100 (after a spot of housework) so having fun bouncing about and proteins sitting at just a trace atm though thankfully. Shes not sending me to hosp at mo as they will only send me home again so ive said i cant be assed. So shes coming bck sunday and said she will see me every cpl days if need be. Ive now gained 6.5lb in 11 days so weight still going up as swelling well onto thighs and in back of hands. Getting a bit in face overight still but going down during day Im not engaged as i thought i might be - the pressure im getting in me bits is from......madams feet! Shes breech again. Just as well ive got me sec booked already.
